Pincushion, a wreath of buttons, embroidery floss, spools of thread, white buttons

   This mandala is made from materials associated with my sewing studio on the first floor in the building behind our house. There is a pincushion that belonged to my mother, Susan Prentiss O’Toole Boss. There is a wreath covered in buttons that I bought at the outdoor flea market in Hadley, Massachusetts a few years ago. Embroidery floss, spools of thread and white buttons from my studio.
