Most of the elements in this mandala were gathered from the “meadows”, a section of land that lies in both Northampton and Easthampton along the Connecticut River. Mark, I and Cricket walk there often. Some of the land is devoted to farming. Much is protected by the Audubon Society. The roads are dirt, the views are spectacular. How lucky we are to have this resource just minutes away from our house and studio.
