Mark and Susan realize that they are living out the dream life of many creative people.
Their freestanding studio sits 30 short feet from the back door and is an inviting 1,400 square feet with huge windows and a lot of natural light.
MARK BROWN CREATING A CLOCK
On the second floor Mark runs the clock and robot studio. There are about a million different pieces loosely organized by type and color. Wooden drawers are festooned with objects- buttons, keys, springs, bits and pieces from all walks of life- screwed on to help him remember what’s in where.
Can you see I’m NOT exaggerating?
ROBOTS OF SHAPES AND ALL SIZES ARE CREATED IN THE STUDIO
Some robots (like this one pictured to the right) don't have any need for legs.
In the first floor Susan makes non-traditional quilts using her collection of new and vintage fabrics. The textiles are arranged by color and fill every shelf and cabinet from floor to ceiling.
A group of robots join together.
More robots on the loose in the studio.
CLOCKS, QUILTS & ROBOTS!
This wonderfully green/blue robot is great.
